While surfing the web I got this pop-up-ad. A company called Pleasure Pools, who wants me to join the “Pleasure Generation” and buy a swimming pool. The thing is, nothing about that swimming pool looks pleasurable…those kids are drowning!
I could not believe that this was the picture they used for advertising. I went to their website and sure enough it was their main picture. It’s like they only had 50 cents for an advertising budget, so they threw two kids into a pool, took a picture of them gasping for air and made it the jewel of their advertising campaign.

Whatever, nothing brings a family closer together than saving each other’s lives. And with Pleasure Pools, you can experience the thrills of either a) almost drowning and being saved by a family member or b) saving your sibling/mom/dad/cousin’s life. And you can do it every damn day!!!
I like the part in the upper right corner… “Contact Pleasure” and then the phone number; sounds like something out of the back of the City Pages.
Did anyone notice the phantom appendage on the left?
